East Alabama Technology Conference

Lee- Scott Academy is excited to announce that they will be hosting the East Alabama Technology Conference on Tuesday, June 6, 2017.  This is an opportunity to learn from experts, connect with peers, and grow professionally - without having to travel across the country.

The Keynote speaker is Ms. Colleen Glaude.  She is the Dean of Instructional Technology at The Westminster School in Atlanta, GA.  Ms. Glaude has more than 20 years of experience in education, most recently from Pensacola Catholic High School in Florida, where she was Director of Technology for five years. She earned a BA in Mathematics with a minor in Physics and a BS in Secondary Mathematics Education from the University of Maine, Farmington. She earned her M.Ed. in Instructional Technology from the University of West Florida. In 2007, Ms. Glaude was selected as an Apple Distinguished Educator and has been part of an elite global network of advocates, advisers, authors, and ambassadors for utilizing technology to transform teaching and learning.

Registration for the conference will begin in early January.  More information will be linked through Lee-Scott’s website in late October.
