STATE ORATORICAL CONTEST

 

2010-2011 ORATORICAL CONTEST:  District Contests are scheduled for October 26, 2010, and the State Contest is on November 1, 2010 at Huntingdon College, Smith Hall.  Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m., and the contest will begin at 10:00 a.m.  This year's topic is “What is the responsibility of British Petroleum (BP) in the long term clean-up and economic restoration of the Alabama Gulf Coast following the Deepwater Horizon incident?”   Standard 5x7 or 5x8 cards are acceptable for district and state oratorical contest.
