Position Overview: Principal at Evangel Christian Academy
All Faculty and Staff must attend a Bible-believing church and have earned a bachelor’s degree.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Oversight:
- Provide leadership for all curriculum-related matters and ensure the school’s accreditation is maintained and enhanced.
- Supervise the development and continuous improvement of the academic programs.
- Oversee the integration of technology advancements to enhance educational delivery.
- Counsel and discipline both elementary and high school students as needed.
- Academic Program Development:
- Coordinate periodic reviews of academic programs, working closely with faculty to develop and enhance the curriculum.
- Focus on the improvement of instructional practices and strategies to maintain educational excellence.
- Staff Management:
- Conduct regular staff meetings and ensure clear communication with all faculty and staff.
- Conduct annual performance reviews for all faculty and staff, providing constructive feedback.
- Supervise, evaluate, and provide ongoing guidance and support to all faculty and staff.
- Professional Development:
- Coordinate and implement professional development programs aimed at improving teaching skills and increasing academic qualifications for faculty.
- Work collaboratively with teachers to identify areas for growth and create actionable strategies for professional improvement.
- Parent & Teacher Communication:
- Serve as a key liaison between teachers and parents to address academic or behavioral concerns of students.
- Support Athletic Program:
- Collaborate with the athletic director to support the integration of academic programs with the athletic program, ensuring balanced development of students.

Qualifications:
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s degree in education, administration or leadership is preferred.
- Experience: Classroom teaching experience is preferred. Proven experience in educational leadership and administration is essential.
- Skills: Computer literacy is required, with familiarity in educational technology and systems.
- Leadership & Management: Proven ability to lead and manage people, ensuring effective execution of goals and initiatives.
- Curriculum Development: Ability to enhance and build a structured, sustainable curriculum that meets the diverse needs of students.
- Efficiency & Accountability: Strong track record of increasing capacity, accountability, and efficiency among administrative and professional staff.
