Annual Conference

Major Announcement from the AISA:  The Annual Conference will be on Monday, November 1st, 2021.

Registration for the AISA Annual Conference is now open!  We hope you and your faculty will make plans to join us in Montgomery on Monday, November 1st at Vaughn Forest Church!  Please find the agenda for this year’s conference and a conference flyer attached below.

Speakers: We are excited to have Gerry Brooks (educator and social media personality) and Vicki Davis (educator, blogger, twitterer, podcaster, speaker, author, and technology leader) as speakers (see links below). Mr. Brooks will be inspiring us with humor and motivation, while Ms. Davis will be speaking on the topic:Technology Driven Differentiated Instruction. Ms. Davis will speak to the Elementary division separately from the Secondary division. 

Cohort Groups: Attendees will have one session in which they will have the opportunity to network with fellow educators or administrators.

AISA Conference EdShare:  Administrators, Staff and Teachers! We are hoping that you will be willing to share ideas and/or favorite lessons in your field. We have created an online handbook in which to share resources – AISA Conference EdShare Handbook.

    How to share your ideas/resources: just click on the link below and view the instructions on how to best share your information and submit. Once submitted, ideas and lessons will be posted in the handbook on the AISA website under the Events tab. 

     Be sure to look through the shared information before the conference – it can be a great way to get the most out of your cohort group time!

Cohort Facilitators: Please consider being a Facilitator for your Cohort group. No pressure, no planning, just be willing to facilitate the beginning of the meeting and keep things on track. Facilitators will be contacted and given further instructions at a later date. 

Registration: To register, please click on the following link: 2021 ANNUAL CONFERENCE REGISTRATION.  This link is also available on our website under “Events”.  Registration closes on Friday, October 8th, 2021.  The cost is $25 per attendee. After Friday, October 15th registration fees will be nonrefundable. Schools will be invoiced and should remit payment to AISA for their total number of participants.
