Required qualifications:
- Christian values and lifestyle
- Bachelor’s degree
- Five years football coaching experience at high school or college level (head coaching or coordinator experience preferred)
- Knowledge of AISA rules and regulations
- Self-directed leader who demonstrates initiative
- Computer and software skills including Hudl, Microsoft Office, and student information systems
Essential duties:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive plan for the football program
- Supervise and manage all personnel in the football program
- Cooperate with strength and conditioning coach for player development
- Steward the athletic facilities, equipment and fields
- Maintain player and coach eligibility requirements
- Manage football budget efficiently
- Attend all school and AISA required meetings and functions
- Teach classes as assigned by Headmaster
- Comply to Bessemer Academy policies and procedures
- Any other assigned duties by the Headmaster or Athletic Director
Salary:
- Commensurate with experience and qualifications – TBD by the Board of Directors
- Starting date June 1, 2025
