Overview
Northside Methodist Academy is seeking a Head of School who will be a strong spiritual leader, has a passion for quality education, and is committed to long-term leadership.
A singularly important aspect of this position involves inspiring staff and students in their relationship with Christ while building a high quality academic and extra-curricular foundation.
This role calls for the ability to delegate and support the strong faculty and leadership team already in place while providing the vision and experience to lead into the future. We desire our next Head of School to balance confidence with humility and to be a servant leader who will quickly grow to love our school, our culture, and our mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide spiritual leadership that inspires students, faculty, and families in their walk with Christ.
- Lead, support, and empower an experienced faculty and administrative team.
- Maintain and advance academic excellence across all grade levels (K3–12).
- Cultivate a positive, Christ-centered school culture rooted in integrity, service, and community.
- Execute long-range strategic planning and promote growth in all areas of the school.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including families, staff, and the Board of Trustees.

Professional Qualifications
The successful candidate will:
- Possess proven leadership and management experience, preferably in education or ministry.
- Demonstrate excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Exhibit the ability to delegate effectively and empower strong teams.
- Have experience in Christian education or student ministry with a discipleship mindset.
- Be a visionary leader with the capacity to develop and execute long-term strategic goals.
