The Lakeside School is seeking a passionate, high-character leader to serve as Head Junior
Varsity Football Coach. This position is ideal for a coach who is committed to player development,
culture-building, and laying the foundation for long-term varsity success.
The Head JV Coach plays a critical role in shaping student-athletes both on and off the field,
supporting the mission of our school environment that values academics, character, and
community.
Teaching and Varsity Assistant Coach opportunities are also possible for the right candidate.
Founded in 1968, The Lakeside School has provided a high-quality, college-preparatory education
to students in South Alabama for over five decades. Lakeside is a coeducational independent
school serving approximately 330 students in grades Pre-Kindergarten through twelve and is
governed by a 12-member, self-perpetuating Board of Trustees. The school is accredited by
AdvancEd and is a member of the Alabama Independent School Association. While non-sectarian,
Lakeside places a strong emphasis on moral values and character development.
The Lakeside School is located in historic Eufaula, Alabama, just minutes from the scenic shoreline
of Lake Eufaula. The area is known for its rich history, strong sense of community, and reputation
as a sportsman’s paradise, and it is conveniently located within a two-hour drive of the Gulf Coast
beaches. Eufaula is approximately 90 miles southeast of Montgomery, Alabama, and 40 miles
southwest of Columbus, Georgia.
