Position Overview
We are seeking a Math Teacher who delights in teaching students to think critically and
approach mathematics with confidence and curiosity.
We are open to a Full Time or Part Time candidate. Full Time candidates will likely need to
cover an additional subject area or school responsibility, with the best fit for this subject material
or responsibility to be determined after discussion with the candidate.
Key Responsibilities
• Teach math courses for grades 7–12, including Algebra I and Algebra II
• Present mathematical concepts clearly and logically, emphasizing understanding over
rote memorization
• Encourage careful work, mental discipline, and problem-solving skills
• Maintain a structured, respectful classroom environment
• Assess student progress through meaningful assignments, quizzes, and exams
• Communicate student progress with administration as needed
• Collaborate with faculty to support the mission and culture of the school
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field (required)
• Teaching experience at the middle or high school level (preferred)
• Familiarity with or openness to Charlotte Mason educational principles
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to teach multiple levels of math with clarity and confidence
