AISA State Spelling Bee 6th-8th: December 2, 2025 at VAUGHN FOREST CHURCH, Montgomery, AL
Registration will be from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. with the contest beginning at 9:30 a.m.
In district and state competition, words will be taken from the practice speller, AISA Word List Spelling Bee Supplement. A list of words chosen at random will be prepared before the contest from the practice speller. These words will be pronounced in a pre-planned sequence and will not be in alphabetical order. The order for calling words in AISA Spelling Bees (District and State) will follow the plan established by Hexco. Each list is divided into three approximately equal parts: Beginning Words; Intermediate Words; and Advanced Words.
Note: This year’s words are a NEW list; therefore, old supplements MAY NOT be used for studying.
