Important Information

Each track athlete, and coach, at this year’s State Track Meet in Gulf Shores will be required to wear a wrist band for entry into the park and for access to the competition areas of the facility. In order to mail you the appropriate number of wrist bands, please let us know by e-mail at sbazzle@aisaonline.org how many wrist bands you will need for participating athletes and coaches.

NOTE: If requesting more than 3 for coaches, please provide names and coaching responsibilities. This information should be submitted to the AISA office by April 2, 2025, Wednesday at noon.

In order to attend this event, you must purchase a ticket from S2 Pass. You will need to download S2 Pass from the App Store or Google Play. Once you have downloaded the app, you may purchase your ticket. There will not be a cash gate at this event. A general admission ticket is required for 1st grade and up-sales tax and processing fee included. Tickets will be available to purchase on April 4, 2025. In the search bar insert AISA when asked for a school. AISA Athletic Passes and Game Passes will be accepted at this event.

Each school’s track coach is responsible for all entries submitted. Any mistake made by a school’s coach in a listing of a participant and/or record will result in a disqualification of that student athlete. Therefore, coaches make sure your entries are correct before submitting them online.


A. Entry Criteria

  1. All entries must have competed in at least two (2) regular season AISA track meets or be part of a team that has participated in at least two (2) AISA meets. Note: All participants entering an individual event must have participated in that event at least once during the regular season and have a recorded effort. Relay participants must have competed in a current season meet to participate in the state meet.
  2. A school may enter a maximum of two (2) participants in all individual events. Note: A third participant may be entered if all three (3) entries have a time or distance which is equal to or better than the minimum qualifications that follow. All times and distances must be from the current track season. Example: If track Team A has 3 boys who have all run an 11.5 second 100- meter dash or faster during the current track season, they may enter all 3 athletes in the state meet. All triple qualifiers are subject to verification.
    These Qualifying Standards will be established before the start of track season. Coaches, please enter competitive people only.
  3. A school may enter only one (1) team in each relay.


B. Participation Regulations

  1. An individual may compete in a maximum of five (5) events if at least one of these is a field event.
  2. Individuals must wear a regulation track uniform or basketball uniform.
    All relay teams must be dressed in exact colors, tops and bottoms. Jerseys
    must be tucked into shorts. (Relay teams should be identifiable from a distance.)
  3. Relay substitutes must be listed on entry form
  4. Schools may enter only one (1) team in each relay.
  5. Spikes must meet track requirements (1/4″ maximum length).

Lane Assignments:
A. Lane assignments for preliminaries will be determined by time submitted on entry form.
B. Lane assignments for finals will be determined by preliminary qualifying time and/or
order of heat finish.
Finals Qualifying Criteria:
A. Field Events: Each entry will get three (3) tries in preliminaries. The top eight (8) places
will advance to finals.
B. Track Events: The top eight (8) places, based on times and/or order of heat finish, will
advance to finals.

Rules Committee:
The Meet Director and AISA Director will appoint a Rules Committee to handle grievances.

A. Lane assignments for preliminaries will be determined by time submitted on entry form.


B. Lane assignments for finals will be determined by preliminary qualifying time and/or order of heat finish.

A. Field Events: Each entry will get three (3) tries in preliminaries. The top eight (8) places will advance to finals.
