Lower School Teacher

Job Title: Lower School Teacher (5th & 6th Grade) 

Position Type: Full-Time, Onsite 

Position Overview: 

We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and student-centered educator to join our Lower School team as a 5th and 6th Grade Teacher. This full-time, onsite position offers an opportunity to work in a positive, collaborative environment with a supportive staff and a strong sense of community.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with curriculum standards 
• Create a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment 
• Assess student progress regularly and provide timely, constructive feedback
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs 
• Foster critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills 
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues 
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to enhance the overall educational experience 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
• Valid teaching certification (or ability to obtain) 
• Experience teaching upper elementary or middle grades preferred 
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities 
• Passion for working with students and contributing to a positive school culture
