Special Programs and Marketing Coordinator

The Independent School Collaborative, a 501(c)3 organization that supports Independent schools across the SE and beyond with a discounted subscription program, college loan forgiveness program, and Multiple Employer Retirement Plan (MEP), is seeking an educational professional to oversee and grow the ISC’s classroom subscription program which provides discounted subscriptions to more than 200 independent schools in our association network.  This individual will also be responsible for website updates and creating marketing materials for ISC events and programs. This is a new, part-time position estimated at 15-25 hours per month.

The ideal candidate will work at an independent school and have first-hand knowledge of classroom resource needs, challenges, and budgets.  Other qualifications include:

• Competitive nature and ability to rise to new challenges
• Ability to work independently
• Attention to detail and ability to write effectively
• Ability to deal effectively with vendors and negotiate pricing
• Working knowledge of Excel and other spreadsheet programs
• Experience with SquareSpace (website platform) or willingness to learn
• Experience in creating flyers on Canva or similar platform

This position includes the opportunity to earn bonuses based on growth in the number of schools taking advantage of discount subscriptions and the addition of new resources that are popular with ISC schools.
