Position Summary
Springwood School is seeking a passionate, faith-driven History Teacher for grades 7–10. The ideal candidate will engage students through meaningful instruction, encourage critical thinking, and integrate a Christian worldview while preparing students for the academic expectations of high school.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging history and social studies instruction.
- Foster critical thinking through historical analysis, discussion, and research.
- Maintain a positive, structured classroom environment.
- Integrate Christian values into daily instruction.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs.
- Utilize educational technology and FACTS for grading and communication.
- Communicate regularly with parents and collaborate with faculty.
- Participate in school activities and contribute to campus life.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in History, Social Studies Education, or a related field
- Teaching certification
- Teaching experience preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Successful completion of a background check.
