Position Overview: 

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Upper School Mathematics Teacher to join our team. This full-time, onsite position involves teaching Pre-Calculus, Algebra II, and Geometry to high school students. The ideal candidate will foster a positive and engaging learning environment while supporting students in developing strong mathematical skills and critical thinking abilities. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons in Pre-Calculus, Algebra II, and Geometry 
• Create a classroom environment that encourages student participation, curiosity, and growth 
• Assess student progress regularly and provide timely, constructive feedback
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners 
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and instructional practices
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff 
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance 
• Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
• Valid teaching certification (or ability to obtain) 
• Strong content knowledge in upper-level high school mathematics 
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills 
• Passion for teaching and supporting student success
