Macon East Academy is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and student-centered Elementary School Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will foster a positive learning environment, demonstrate strong instructional skills, and support students’ academic, social, and emotional development.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
Create a safe, structured, and positive classroom environment
Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities
Collaborate with colleagues, administration, and staff to support school initiatives
Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or related field
Valid Alabama teaching certification preferred (or ability to obtain certification)
Strong classroom management skills
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Commitment to academic excellence and character development
