Elementary (Math (ABEKA) 4th, 5th, and 6th Grades
Monroe Academy is seeking a dedicated educator who is confident in classroom management and passionate about shaping students academically and spiritually.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to plan and implement curriculum and instruction
- Effectively differentiate instruction to meet the various needs of students, including whole group and individualized instruction
- Integrate a biblical worldview into daily instruction
- Maintain strong classroom management with clear expectations and consistent structure
- Build a classroom culture rooted in respect, responsibility, and growth
- Communicate with parents proactively, positively, and professionally to support the academic, social-emotional, and physical needs of students
- Actively engage in the school’s process of growth and development
- Participate in school events and community life
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (required)
- State teaching certification preferred (requirements may vary by grade level)
- Classroom teaching experience preferred but not required
- Strong classroom management and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
