Elementary Art/Music Teacher, 9th Grade Art/Drama, and Yearbook Advisor
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate art/music, Drama, and Yearbook instructor to join our team. This full-time, onsite position involves teaching elementary students the joy of singing. The ideal candidate will foster a positive and engaging learning environment while supporting students in developing strong and enjoyable skills in the arts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons in art/music (K-6), art/drama (9th grade) and Yearbook (7-12).
- Create a classroom environment that encourages student participation, curiosity, and growth
- Assess student progress regularly and provide timely, constructive feedback
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and instructional practices
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Valid teaching certification (or ability to obtain)
- Strong content knowledge in music/art
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Passion for teaching and supporting student success
