Position Overview: 

Decatur Heritage Christian Academy (Decatur, AL) is seeking dedicated and passionate Elementary School teachers to join our teaching community. These full-time positions are in Kindergarten and 1^st grade. We are looking for teachers who resonate with our school mission and are eager and able to engage in meaningful learning and spiritual formation in the life of our youngest students.

We are a growing Christian school located just outside of Huntsville, AL serving approximately 400 students from K4 through 12^th grade. Over three decades we have been committed to providing a warm and inviting community characterized by its commitment to exceptional academic, athletic, artistic, and faith-inspired engagement.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree
• Valid teaching certification (or ability to obtain)
• Strong pedagogical skills for early learners
• Proven success in excellent classroom management and engaging learning experiences
• Committed to nurturing whole-student success
