High School Mathematics Teacher ( Algebra 1 and Algebra II, Geometry)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Upper School Mathematics Teacher to join our team. This full-time, onsite position involves teaching Algebra 1, Algebra II, and Geometry to high school students. The ideal candidate will foster a positive and engaging learning environment while supporting students in developing strong mathematical skills and critical thinking abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons in Pre-Calculus, Algebra I, Algebra 2 and Honors Geometry
- Create a classroom environment that encourages student participation, curiosity, and growth
- Assess student progress regularly and provide timely, constructive feedback
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and instructional practices
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics (Master’s preferred)
- Valid teaching certification (or ability to obtain)
- Strong content knowledge in upper-level high school mathematics
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
